Operation File // SC-RESERVE-001
The Aurelia Reserve
The Aurelia Reserve is a private banking institution in the heart of the Aurelius District. It manages accounts for the city's wealthiest residents — many of whom built their fortunes in the same shadow economy you operate in. That irony is not lost on the Broker.
Penetrating the Reserve requires pre-operation intelligence, a crew with specific specializations, and a vulnerability window that opens exactly twice per in-game season — and closes without warning. A successful run is not just about the money. It is a statement that the entire city will know about.
Window Notice
The Reserve's vulnerability window is time-limited and unpredictable. When the Broker signals the window is open, crews have a fixed period to commit their plan and execute. Miss the window and you wait a full season.
Trust Threshold
Every crew member must hold a Trust score of 60 or above to participate. A single crew member below threshold blocks the entire operation from proceeding.
From The Broker
"The Reserve has not been touched in eleven years. Not because it's impossible — because no one in this city has assembled the right team at the right time with the right plan. That changes when you're ready."
The Operation
Six Phases. One Shot.
The Aurelia Reserve heist unfolds across six distinct phases. Every phase involves decisions. Every decision has weight. There are no neutral moments.
Before the Job
Intel Gathering
Weeks before the window opens, your crew researches the Reserve. Security schedules, guard rotations, vault timing, and staff patterns — all sourced through contacts or the Broker.
Game Mechanic
Crew votes on which intel sources to pursue. Better intel reduces risk multipliers during execution.
Risk Factor
Cost of intel. Low direct risk but missed information creates blind spots.
Finding Your People
Crew Assembly
The Reserve requires a crew of 4–6 players in specific roles. Each role slot must be filled before the operation can proceed. Missing a role is a guaranteed failure point.
Game Mechanic
Crew invitations require Trust threshold approval. All members must vote to proceed before the plan locks in.
Risk Factor
Trust score checks. One below-threshold player blocks the operation.
Choosing the Method
Approach Vote
Before execution, the crew votes on the operational approach: Quiet, Deception, or Force. Each carries a different risk profile, requires different role strengths, and offers different payout modifiers.
Game Mechanic
Majority vote determines approach. A tied vote defaults to the highest-heat option. The vote is final once cast.
Risk Factor
The wrong approach for your crew composition significantly increases bust probability.
The Job
Execution
Each role player receives a sequence of decisions during execution. Role performance is calculated from choices made. Failures cascade — one compromised role can trigger a response that locks out the vault.
Game Mechanic
Each player receives 3-5 decision prompts during their role phase. Outcomes feed into a shared operation state.
Risk Factor
Cascading failures. High heat triggers at each complication. Bust probability rises with each misstep.
Getting Out Clean
Extraction
The Wheelman executes the escape route. The better their vehicle, the cleaner the extraction. A clean extraction reduces final heat impact for the entire crew.
Game Mechanic
Wheelman's vehicle stats determine extraction efficiency. Police pressure from execution phase compounds here.
Risk Factor
High police pressure from earlier failures makes extraction significantly harder.
The Debrief
After-Action Report
The operation generates a full After-Action Report — automatically filed when the job concludes. It records every crew member's performance, the final payout, heat impact, and efficiency score.
Game Mechanic
Report visible to all crew members. High efficiency earns future operation bonuses. Poor performance is on the permanent record.
Risk Factor
None from the report itself. But the record follows you — crew invitations reference it.
Approach Selection
Choose Your Method
The crew votes on the approach before committing. Each method requires different role strengths and carries different heat and payout consequences.
Quiet Approach
No alarms. No blood. No witnesses.
The Hacker takes point. Security systems are bypassed digitally. Cameras looped. Access forged. A quiet approach leaves no physical evidence — but the technical execution must be near-perfect.
Payout Modifier
+15%
Heat Category
Low
Lowest heat. Best payout. Highest execution difficulty.
Role Requirements
Crew System
Every Role Has Weight
A weak link anywhere breaks the chain. The Reserve demands excellence from every player in every role — not just the crew that's shouting loudest.
Mastermind
The operation lives and dies on the plan.
Coordinates the entire operation. Calls the approach, manages role assignments, and holds the payout authority. The Mastermind receives the largest base cut — and absorbs the most scrutiny.
What You Do
Directs role players during execution. Authorizes payout splits. Breaks vote ties.
Success Criteria
Operation completed without full bust. Crew exits intact.
Failure Impact
Indecision or miscommunication at critical decision points cascades down to all other roles.
Hacker
Everything digital bends to the right code.
Disables camera systems, bypasses electronic locks, loops security feeds, and provides real-time data on guard positions. In Quiet and Deception approaches, the Hacker is the operation's spine.
What You Do
Completes a timed digital access sequence during execution. Loops cameras for a fixed window.
Success Criteria
No alarms triggered. Security feeds compromised. Access points cleared.
Failure Impact
An incomplete loop or missed access window alerts the system. Heat spikes.
Enforcer
When the plan breaks, the Enforcer keeps it together.
Physical security, intimidation, and perimeter control. In Force approach, the Enforcer leads. In all approaches, the Enforcer handles unexpected resistance that other roles cannot.
What You Do
Manages physical threats during execution. Neutralizes guard encounters without triggering full alerts.
Success Criteria
Resistance contained. No public incident. Crew secure.
Failure Impact
Over-escalation draws police response. Heat spikes for the entire crew.
Wheelman
No crew survives without a clean exit.
Controls the approach vehicle and extraction route. Better vehicles and higher Garage stats mean cleaner extraction and lower final heat for the entire crew — not just the driver.
What You Do
Vehicle selection before the job. Executes the timed extraction during Phase 5.
Success Criteria
Full crew extracted under time limit. Heat reduction bonus applied to all.
Failure Impact
Vehicle failure or route block during extraction escalates heat across the entire crew.
Lookout
What you don't see is what kills you.
Monitors police frequency and patrol patterns in real time during execution. Provides early warning to the crew when pressure escalates, giving other roles time to adjust.
What You Do
Provides real-time alerts during execution. Warning calls extend the crew's reaction window.
Success Criteria
No surprise pressure events. Other roles complete without forced decisions.
Failure Impact
Missed warning means other role players face decision pressure without warning.
Fixer
The job before the job.
Manages logistics, contact networks, and bribery pipelines before and after the operation. Forged credentials for Deception approach. Post-op suppression of heat through contacts.
What You Do
Pre-operation: sourcing credentials, bribing contacts. Post-op: reducing heat via suppression.
Success Criteria
Approach cover maintained. Post-op heat reduced by Fixer's network quality.
Failure Impact
Blown credentials expose the Deception approach. Post-op heat reduction unavailable.
Participation
Going In Solo vs. With Crew
Going In Solo
High RiskA solo attempt on the Reserve is technically possible — but every unfilled role is a structural weakness in the operation. You cover what you can. The rest is luck.
Choose Approach
Select based on your strongest personal stat. Quiet if Hacker build. Force if Enforcer.
Cover Critical Roles
You handle Mastermind. Other roles perform at a reduced efficiency rate.
No Vote Required
Solo runs skip the crew vote phase. Faster start, no coordination overhead.
Higher Bust Risk
Unfilled roles increase execution failure probability at each phase.
Smaller Payout
Solo run payout modifier: −35%. The cut is yours but the take is smaller.
Full Heat Absorbed
No crew to distribute heat across. All heat falls on one player.
Full Crew Operation
OptimalA full crew operation with all roles covered and all players above the Trust threshold runs at maximum efficiency. Every role performs. Heat is distributed. The payout is the largest in the game.
Crew Assembly
All 4–6 role slots filled. Trust checks pass for every member. Ready state confirmed.
Approach Vote
Crew votes on approach. Majority decision. Plan locks in once vote is cast.
Coordinated Execution
Each role player acts in their phase. Decisions are independent but outcomes are shared.
Distributed Heat
Heat is split across all crew members. Individual exposure is significantly reduced.
Full Payout
No modifier penalty. Split negotiated pre-op. Mastermind holds final payout authority.
Shared Report
After-Action Report filed for every player. Efficient crew builds collective reputation.
After-Action Report
The Report Card
Every operation concludes with a full After-Action Report. Automatically filed. Permanently recorded. A clean debrief earns future bonuses — and a bad one follows you.

The Stakes
What You Win. What You Lose.
No crew goes into the Reserve without knowing the outcome range. The gap between a clean run and a catastrophic failure is enormous — and both are real possibilities.
